It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zhanna Tseytin (née Lev) on May 9, 2026 after a brief illness. A resident of Brooklyn, NY, Zhanna lived a life defined by kindness. Zhanna was born on September 30, 1941 in Gomel, Belarus to Lev and Musya Lev. Whether she was creating macramé or spending time with loved ones, Zhanna brought light to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her sons Evgeny (Yelena) and Andre (Megan), her grandchildren Alex (Allie) and Alisia, her great-grandson Benjamin, and her entire extended family. She was preceded in death by parents and her brother Semion. Family and close friends are invited to a graveside service at 2:00 PM on May 12, 2026 at United Hebrew Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
